  • ·       PEST: a model-independent parameter estimation (PEST) package. The parameter estimation algorithm used by PEST is based on a robust variant of the Gauss-Marquardt-Levenberg method. However, PEST also includes advanced regularization functionality which assists in the calibration of highly parameterized models.
