Dr. Asad Saghir Syed is working as Associate Professor at Department of Botany and Microbiology, College of Science, King Saud University, Riyadh. He has received his Ph.D. (Microbiology) from University of Pune (Place of work- CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune). We are actively involved in microbiology and Nanotechnology research, by dealing with a range of biological tools and analytical (microscopic and spectroscopic) techniques. We tend to think beyond the boundaries by integrating the fundamental understanding at molecular level to design cost effective, economical and environmentally friendly process. Moreover, with a different viewpoint, we are exploring new horizons in microbial technology and nanomaterials for developing novel applications such as energy, health and environment.
