Associate Professor at King Saud University. He holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He currently serves as the Head of the Agricultural Biotechnology Unit at the Center of Excellence in Biotechnology Research and is a member of the Master's Program Council in Biodiversity.
His research interests focus on genetic diversity, the interaction between nutrition and gene expression, and the impact of nutrition on the immune system. He has supervised several master's theses in these areas and has published numerous peer-reviewed scientific papers in specialized journals.
