Selected Topics in Milk Production

This course explores advanced and emerging topics in milk production, focusing on the biological, nutritional, and managerial factors that influence milk yield and quality in dairy animals. Students examine recent scientific developments in lactation physiology, mammary gland function, nutritional strategies, genetic improvement, and herd management practices. Emphasis is placed on critical analysis of current research, discussion of contemporary challenges in dairy production, and the application of scientific knowledge to improve productivity and sustainability in modern dairy systems
