NURS 327 Clinical Application for Child Health Nursing

For the year 1439 Section 52756 and 52755 

- This practicum is designed to develop skills required to provide nursing care to the child throughout the health/illness continuum, including psychosocial, developmental and physical health promotion, risk reduction and illness care. Clinical experiences include an emphasis on nursing care of the good child and the child with acute, chronic and/or life-threatening conditions. Nursing interventions which minimize the psychological and physiologic distress experienced by children and their families are also considered.
