Professor Yassir Mohammed Nour Elfadul is a Professor of Civil Engineering at King Saud University. His academic expertise lies in structural engineering and construction materials, with a particular focus on advanced cementitious composites, sustainable concrete technologies, and the application of artificial intelligence in civil engineering.
He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering, with research specialization in structural and materials engineering. His scholarly work addresses the development of high-performance and environmentally responsible concrete, including polymer-modified systems, recycled and industrial by-product–based materials, and data-driven modeling for predicting mechanical and durability performance. He has published more than 70 peer-reviewed articles in leading international journals and serves as a reviewer for several high-impact scientific periodicals.
Professor Elfadul is actively involved in funded research projects, supervises graduate students, and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in mechanics of materials, structural engineering, and bridge engineering. He also contributes to academic quality assurance, curriculum development, and accreditation activities, supporting the advancement of engineering education and research excellence.
