I am currently working as an associate professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Before joining King Saud University, I worked as a postdoctoral scholar in the School of Medicine at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, USA. Our research aims and objectives were to see the role of small G-proteins in various diseases. Currently involved in teaching and research, the research is mainly focused on finding the molecular mechanisms involved in cancer chemoprevention and chemotherapy-induced vital organ toxicity and their prevention using natural and synthetic compounds in in vivo and in vitro models. I have published over 100 high-impact peer-reviewed articles in international journals, contributed 10 book chapters, and edited 4 scholarly books in my field. In addition to his academic contributions, he serves as an associate editor for several internationally reputed journals, including Frontiers in Nutrition, Frontiers in Oncology, Frontiers in Immunology, PLOS ONE, and Springer Nature Pharmacology and Toxicology.
