Nadeem A. Siddiqui is currently a full Professor of Structural Engineering at the Department of Civil Engineering, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India, in 1999. Before joining King Saud University in April 2005, he was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. His research interests include Safety and reliability assessment of land-based and offshore structures, Repair and rehabilitation of concrete structures using composites, Impact mechanics, and Extreme loading. Since 2018, he has been serving Elsevier’s Journal of King Saud University: Engineering Sciences as Associate Editor. He has been a Technical Committee member of the Saudi Building Code (SBC 304-2018). He is a recipient of several awards, including the prestigious Al-Qasbi Award for Excellence in Civil Engineering in Saudi Arabia in 2016 and 2021. He has been teaching various subjects of structural and civil engineering for the last 24 years and has published more than 130 research papers in International journals and conferences. He has also received four US patents and several research grants.
