Mohammad Jamal Mahmoud Al-Shannag is a professor of structural engineering in civil engineering department at King Saud University, Saudi Arabia.  He received his PhD in civil engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, in 1995.  His research interests include structural repair and retrofit of reinforced concrete structures; normal, lightweight, high performance, and reinforced concretes; fiber reinforced cement based composites and ferrocement; pozzolanic cements, durability of concrete, and concrete making materials.
