Blood constituents - Physical, chemical and biological properties of blood, blood coagulation cascade, role of anticoagulants, blood groups-inheritance and clinical aspects, erythropoiesis - regulation, RBC recycling-associated diseases, molecular aspects of hemoglobin structure and function, anemia- classification and causes.
