I'm Associate Professor in the field of Nutritional biochemistry and metabolism, with a specialization in biochemistry of biomarkers in managing chronic diseases and improve human health status. My academic work focuses on investigating bioactive compounds, oxidative stress, and glycation processes, with particular interest in their implications for human health and disease prevention. I am also engaged in studying natural products and their antioxidant and cytotoxic properties, aiming to explore their potential applications in functional foods and therapeutic strategies.
I am deeply committed to teaching and mentoring students, fostering critical thinking and research skills in the areas of nutrition, metabolism, and biochemical sciences. I believe that advancing our understanding of metabolic processes and food bioactivity plays a crucial role in addressing modern health challenges and improving quality of life.
