Dr. Mushtaq Dar has recently been appointed as an Associate Professor at the Center of Excellence for Research in Engineering Materials (CEREM), Advanced Manufacturing Institute, King Saud University, KSA. Before joining CEREM, Dr. Dar was working as a postdoctoral fellow in advanced materials lab, Department of Chemistry, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Lincoln, NE, USA. He has a long-standing interest in the synthesis of advanced materials for diverse applications such as Li-Ion batteries, antibacterial activity, and sensors. Dr. Dar has also worked in materials science and engineering at the Gwangju Institute of Science & Technology and department of Chemical Engineering at Chonbuk National University, South Korea. He developed novel methods for the fabrication of engineered materials for sensors and energy applications.
