Arch 265: Computer Skills - 1
Description
This course aims to introduce students to the basic concepts of computer graphics techniques in general, and the techniques specific to some specialized software, with a focus on two-dimensional drawing techniques.
Application
The course is delivered through theoretical lectures, multimedia presentations, practical exercises on software, and applied projects. Students also may conduct simple research. The course emphasizes teamwork, participation, and positive student interaction in course activities.
Requirements
Participation and Interaction:
Attendance, participation, and interaction. Students' attendance at lectures and studios is not limited to personal attendance, but rather includes positive participation and interaction in their activities.
Tutorials:
The course includes weekly practical tutorial, which students must complete in the lab within the allocated time frame. These tutorial will be submitted and assessed on the same day. In some cases, students can improve their grade by developing them or re-doing them as homework, so that they are considered in the final assessment of their coursework.
Midterm Exam
Covers what has been studied up to the date of its commencement, includes both theoretical and practical.
Term Research or Project
Involves the student summarizing course topics and lectures, and presenting their opinions and discussion on each of these topics. Or, Preparing given 2D model.
Final Exam
The course has a final exam requirement according to university regulations. Its time and location are determined according to the final exam schedule.
