Dr. Shafiq Ahmad is a Professor of Industrial Engineering at King Saud University and an internationally respected expert in quality engineering, process capability, and operational optimization. With more than three decades of experience across Australia, Germany, Thailand, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia, he blends rigorous statistical modeling and machine learning with hands‑on industrial practice from roles at Deutsche Aerospace (DASA) and Seagate Technology. A PhD from RMIT University and advanced degrees from AIT and TU Hamburg underpin a prolific research record—over 180 refereed articles, a research book, and sustained placement among the top 2% most‑cited scientists worldwide (2023–2025).
