IE 520 Design and Analysis of Experiments
This course familiarizes students with a holistic view of the fundamentals of experimental designs, analysis tools, and techniques, interpretation, and applications of experimental design techniques which will help students to know (i) the fundamentals of experiments and their applications to industrial problems, (ii) statistics concepts including ANOVA and regression, (iii) experimental designs such as RCBD, Latin Square, factorial and fractional factorial designs, (iv) application of statistical models in analyzing experimental data, (v) RSM to optimize the response of interest from an experiment, and (vi) use of software such as Minitab.
