The book begins with a theoretical framework, where the most important mechanical concepts related to sports activity, especially methods of sports performance in general, were reviewed. The rest of the chapters are devoted to reviewing the applications of mechanical concepts to the most important well-known and world-famous sports such as basketball, gymnastics, swimming, track and field games, and locally in the author's country, the United States of America, such as American football, baseball and softball. Although the book contains many arithmetic equations that require prior knowledge of mathematics and the principles of physics, the reader can benefit from the book directly, especially with regard to the applied part to sports. The book combines qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, which are in fact of great importance in the study of sports, and this book is a reference in that. The book's inclusion of a qualitative analysis method, which is closer to the understanding of trainers and teachers in particular, adds to the book's great importance.
