I am an Assistant Professor at King Saud University, Department of Electrical Engineering. I was an Academic Visitor at the University of Oxford and Research Associate at the University of Manchester. I received my Ph.D. in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Iowa State University, Ames, IA. My main interests are in the fields of power systems and operations research (mathematical modeling and optimization). My current research interest includes power system optimization, power system planning, outage management, maintenance scheduling, and machine learning.
