introduction/brief CV

Dr. Mirza is a Professor of Information Systems at the College of Computer & Information Sciences, King Saud University since 1997. He has supervised a good number of PhD students who are now faculty members in this university and different universities around the country or are professionals in leadership positions. 

During his long career at KSU he served as the Chairman on the IS department for three different terms as well as the college vice dean for academic affairs. His career also included several leadership positions in both public and private institutions as full-time consultant, while always maintaining a link to the university offering at least 6 credits per Semester. His external activities included Supervisory roles to the Minister of Higher Education and the Minister of Education.

During 2021, Dr. Mirza was selected as one of 90 from over 11,000 applicants to the MISK 2030 Leaders Program. A program that extended a period of a year and a half lead by ESADE university in Spain with the participation of several other well-known global organizations such as Accenture and the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL).
