Dr. Sarah Alotaibi is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at King Saud University. Her research interests span computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on appearance modelling, intrinsic image estimation, 3D face analysis, and inverse rendering using optimization and deep learning methods. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of York (UK) in 2020, under the supervision of Prof. William Smith and Prof. Edwin Hancock. During her doctoral studies, she worked on advanced statistical and machine-learning techniques for modeling facial appearance and contributed to applications in image decomposition, 3D reconstruction, and feature analysis. Her doctoral research has been published in top computer vision venues, including ICCV, ICIP, and BMVC.
