I am an assistant professor with the Department of Computer Science Department, King Saud University based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I received the BSc and Msc degrees in computer science from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. I completed my PhD degree in computer vision from the University of York, United Kingdom, where I was a member of the Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Group (CVPR). My research interests include statistical modelling, appearance modelling, face modelling, and reflectance analysis, with a focus on applying advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques to solve problems in computer vision.
