Former Head of the Department of Architecture and Building Sciences and Assistant Professor of Architecture, College of Architecture and Planning, King Saud University. He received his PhD from the University of Nottingham, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Architecture and Built Environment, UK, in 2020. He also received a Diploma in Higher Education from the University of Nottingham, UK, in 2019.

He earned a Master's degree in Digital Solutions for Architecture from Vancouver, Canada, in 2014. He received his Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Planning from King Saud University in 2006.

He provided numerous consulting and arbitration services and served as Head of the Review Team for the translation of the Regulatory Guide for Commercial Signage in Riyadh – Urban Landscape Improvement Unit – Riyadh Municipality, in 2022. He was also a part-time consultant to the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve in 2023 and a member of the Executive Committee for the Prince Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf Award for Humanizing Cities.

He has provided numerous design, planning, real estate development, architecture, sustainability, and project management consultancies to various public and private entities. He teaches a range of courses in architecture, planning, and urban design programs. He is a member of the architectural competition management team for the design of a residential complex for Al Majdiyah Residence Company (2021) and the director of the general site design competition for the university campus at King Khalid University in Abha (2022).

He has received several awards and certificates, including:
1. The Golden Shield for Volunteering - King Saud University (2024)
2. The Leadership Academy Award from the University of Nottingham (2018)
3. A letter of appreciation from the Saudi Ambassador to Canada (2014)
4. A certificate of excellence from the College of Architecture and Planning (2003)
