- I worked in general education as a teacher, then a deputy, then a director, then moved to higher education as an assistant professor, then an associate professor, and now a "professor" in Plant Anatomy and Physiology, Department of Botany and Microbiology, College of Science, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia.
- I have taught - and still teach - more than 5 specialized courses and other courses related to the general specialization at the undergraduate level and the postgraduate levels, Master's and PhD.
- I supervised many research projects at the undergraduate level and more than 9 scientific theses and postgraduate studies Masters and PhD.
- I participated in supervising 15 scientific theses in the field of specialization.
- I published more than 200 scientific research papers in international peer-reviewed journals with a high impact factor.
- I worked as a visiting professor for the laboratories of medicinal plants and natural products, College of Natural Sciences, University of Massachusetts 2017. USA.

- I examined, reviewed and evaluated many scientific research, projects and scientific books in the field of specialization.
- I attended and participated in more than 25 local and international conferences - I attended and participated in a number of workshops in the field of specialization inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

- I visited a number of prestigious international universities for specialized research and scientific purposes such as the United States of America, the United Kingdom, China, Australia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and universities in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
- I attended and participated in many specialized and general courses inside and outside the Kingdom in a number of fields such as English language skills, self-development, excellence in teaching, educational administration, measurement and evaluation, methods of caring for special groups and in the field of computers and their uses, scientific research and publishing, management of research groups and others.
- I made a number of scientific and research trips to collect, study, identify and classify some natural plants in the eastern, northern and southwestern regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia between 1418-1445 AH.

• Research interests
I study the micro and macro anatomical structures and study the physiological features of plants, I focus on the responses of anatomical and physiological features in plants to biotic and abiotic stresses and try to identify the sites of its effects and explain the mechanisms of their occurrence, to try to reduce or prevent their effects using organic and inorganic compounds such as various plant extracts, plant growth regulators, mineral elements or use new innovative methods.
