Dr. Saleh Alhijji is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dental Health, College of Applied Medical Sciences, King Saud University. His work focuses on dental materials, biomaterials, digital dentistry, additive manufacturing, intelligent systems, and healthcare innovation. He is also Head of the Medical Technologies Innovation Unit, where he supports multidisciplinary innovation and the translation of research ideas into practical healthcare and dental technology solutions.

- Dental Materials and Biomaterials: dental biomaterials, dental materials science, resin-based restorative materials, dental ceramics, zirconia-based restorations, and surface and optical properties of restorative materials.
- Adhesion and Restoration Longevity: adhesive dentistry, resin–dentin interfaces, hybrid layer degradation, degradation of dental adhesive interfaces, and restoration failure mechanisms.
