Dental Technology B.Sc. program will prepare graduates to deal with a wide range of dental restorative materials like ceramics, metals, and polymers, as well taken the opportunity to study their basic properties and their clinical implication to perform high quality promotive, preventive and curative oral health care. Specifically, the Dental Technology graduate will be able to fabricate prosthesis like dental implant, crown & bridge, removable dentures, orthodontic appliances, removable partials, and maxillofacial prosthetics besides carrying out many dental laboratory procedures. They will advanced their skills in using small hand instruments, accuracy, artistic ability and attention to minute details, as well as skills for using new technology in dental manufacturing like CAD-CAMs and 3D-printing systems.
