My research spans experimental nuclear/hadronic physics and radiation-shielding simulation. My core expertise is in electron-scattering studies of nucleon structure functions and nuclear medium modifications - including EMC-effect analysis, Fermi smearing, and F2/FL/F1 structure-function extraction - carried out through large-scale Jefferson Lab collaborations. In parallel, I work extensively with Geant4 Monte Carlo simulation for radiation and neutron-gamma shielding design.
The course covers passage of radiation through matter, basic statistics for experimental data analysis and the general characteristics and types of detectors.
