Basic Microbiology

CLS 311 or CLS 261 Basic Microbiology (2 + 1 = 3 hours)

This course covers the basic theoretical and practical aspects of various groups of microorganisms which include bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. Moreover, the basic terms and definitions that relate to infectious diseases, microbial control and handling clinical specimens will be explained.
