introduction/brief CV
Hello, thank you for visiting my page. I received my MSc from South China Agricultural University (SCAU) in 2001 under the supervision of Prof. Yu Rang Cai. In 2002, I joined Chungbuk National University (CBNU), Korea for my PhD study. I recieved my PhD degree in 2005 under the supervision of Prof. Paek Kee Yoeup. Then, continued a post-doctoral study till April 2006. During 2007 - 2009, I joined school of biological and conservation sciences, University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), South Africa for post-doctoral study. I returned to my home country (EGYPT) and worked as associate professor till 2014. Currently, I'm associate professor, faculty of food and agriculture sciences, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. My main research interests are in plant tissue culture, bioreactors, plant physiology and secondary metabolites. I welcome collaboration and discussions. My E-mail: ydewir@hotmail.com
