During this course medical students will be exptected to aquire the following:

1. The student will be able to diagnose ie proper history taking, and systemic physical examination of the common surgical problems.

2. The student will be able to suggest and discuss an appropriate investigations and sound approach to the problem of the patients and suggestion of possible treatment.

3. The student will be able to take care of general surgical problems.

4. Ensuring the graduation of a safe medical doctor is the core of the course.
