Pathophysiology, Drug Action, and Therapeutics (5) (415 PHRM)(3+0)
This course is designed to provide pharmacy students with required knowledge and cognitive skills regarding the different Antimicrobial Agents (Anti Infectious Agents). Those agents may be classified broadly based on mechanisms of action to either Bactericidal or Bacteristatics. The course provides students with a required comprehensive learning of different categories of Anti infectious agents that includes but not limited to, B-lactam Antibiotics (Penicillins, Cephalosporins, Carbapenems, & Monobactams), Aminoglycosides, Tetracyclines, and Antifungal Agents.
