BCH 603 ( Recent aspects of molecular genetics)

Advanced-level discussions of selected topics in eukaryotic molecular biology are taught to Ph.D students with emphasis on current and classical research papers and review articles. Main topics include: mechanisms of gene regulation at RNA level, post transcriptional level, the role of epigenetics in the regulation of gene expression, nucleic acid structure and topology, DNA mutagenesis and repair.
