Applied Physics – BMT 201

This course provides the student with basic knowledge about the physics of waves, electromagnetic waves, and Maxwell equations. The students gain a basic understanding of ionizing and non-ionizing electromagnetic radiations, Polarization, Refraction and interference of light, lasers, and fiber optics and their application to biomedical instrumentation. Also, the students would gain knowledge about matter waves. The students also have two hours of laboratory work for this course.
