Dr. Shaun Sabico is an Associate Professor of Medical Sciences and Deputy Director of the Chair for Biomarkers of Chronic Diseases, Department of Biochemistry, College of Science, King Saud University. His research focuses on biomarkers of chronic diseases, metabolism, and clinical nutrition. He serves as Associate Editor for Aging Clinical and Experimental Research and Scientific Editor for Annals of Saudi Medicine. He is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the European Society for Clinical and Economic Aspects of Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases (ESCEO), in addition to serving as Senior Advisor to the WHO Collaborating Centre for Public Health Aspects of Musculoskeletal Health and Aging at the University of Liège (ULiège), Belgium.
