Differential Equations (MATH204)
This course is designed for second-year Engineering students at KSU. It covers the fundamental theory, solution methods, and applications of first-order ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The course also delves into the theory and solution techniques for second- and higher-order linear ODEs, as well as systems of linear ODEs. Additional topics include the power series solution of linear ODEs, Fourier series (including Fourier sine and cosine series), the complex form of Fourier series, Fourier integrals, and Fourier sine and cosine integrals. Through this comprehensive curriculum, students will gain a solid understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of differential equations and their applications in engineering.
