Vectors and Matrices (MATH107)

It is taught to First year Engineering and Computer Science students at KSU. The main topics includes basics of basic matrix algebra, EROs and their use in matrix inversion and solution of system of linear equations, determinants and their properties, vectors in two and three dimensions, vector and cross products of vectors, lines and planes, surfaces, vector valued functions and space curves, curvilinear motion and curvature, basics of functions of two and three variables, partial differentiation, increments and differentials, directional derivatives, tangent planes and normal lines, and extrema of functions of two variables.
