introduction/brief CV

Despite the ever-evolving landscape of chemistry, the significance of material sciences remains paramount in driving technological advancements. The demand for versatile, high-performance materials continues to grow, particularly those with multifunctional properties that can address pressing global challenges such as energy storage, environmental sustainability, and advanced manufacturing. Developing innovative, durable, and efficient materials is crucial for meeting industrial needs while ensuring a more sustainable future.

Our research group is dedicated to the advancement of material sciences, focusing on the design and development of novel nanomaterials and functional composites with wide-ranging applications in energy storage, environmental remediation, and sustainable technologies. By engineering high-performance materials, we aim to address global challenges such as efficient energy conversion, pollution control, and next-generation manufacturing.

As a professor in the Chemistry Department at King Saud University, Riyadh, KSA, I, Prof. Adil (Syed, Farooq Adil), specialize in nanomaterials, advanced material sciences, and graphene-based nanocomposites, with research spanning energy storage, environmental sustainability, and hydrogen production. Over the course of my career, I have authored over 200 research articles, secured multiple patents, and contributed extensively to books and book chapters. Recognized among the Top 2% of scientists globally (Stanford University listing), I have also served as a Visiting Professor at CALTECH, one of the world's premier research institutions, and hold editorial positions in esteemed scientific journals.

Our mission is to push the frontiers of material sciences, developing innovative, durable, and sustainable materials that not only drive industrial progress but also contribute to a cleaner, greener future.
