Souhail Chebbi is a mathematician and professor specializing in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics. He obtained his Ph.D. in 1997 from the University of Paris 1 - Panthéon-Sorbonne, with a research focus on fixed point theory and its applications to finance and economics. His current research interests center on mathematical modeling of investment problems in financial markets and risks in financial markets.
Since its creation, Souhail Chebbi has been the coordinator of the Program of Actuarial and Financial Mathematics. He teaches several courses in financial mathematics, including Corporate Finance, Financial Mathematics, Financial Derivatives, and Models of Financial Economics. He also serves on the editorial boards of two international academic journals, one of which is ranked Q1.
