423 POS Introduction to Orthodontics
Course Description:
A knowledge of the basic of orthodontics is essential for the dental student. This course provides the undergraduate student with the background of the normal occlusion, malocclusion, growth and development of dento-facial stuctures, aetiology and diagnosis of malocclusion and the treatment of occlusal discrepancies. The course is an introductory course and consists of lectures and practical parts. The course is conducted through the whole academic year in two semesters.
Credit hour: 4 hours
