ENG 106 (Basic English Grammar)

The course aims at teaching basic sentence structures. It focuses on practice, and the use of fundamental grammatical elements. Topics covered include verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, countable and noncountable nouns and the passive. Students will do exercises to train them in the skills of constructing grammatically correct and effective spoken and written English sentences
