Pharmacoeconomics (PHCL 431)
Pharmacoeconomics is the study of the costs and consequences (outcomes) associated with the use of pharmaceutical services and products. In this course we will discuss the role of pharmacoeconomics in the decision-making process and the different techniques of pharmacoeconomics evaluation and patients oriented outcome measures.
This course is offered to level 9 PharmD students. It has 2 credit hours lecture per week. The course is completed in one semester; which is approximately of 14 weeks duration.
