CI 321 - Computer Assisted Language Learning
This course aims to enable students to use their Language learning and teaching knowledge to teach different aspects of the English language such as language skills and its components. It provides language teachers with an introduction to the theory and practice of Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL).
By the end of the term, students should be able to:
- Familiarize students with the history and current state of CALL.
- Equip students with the basic arguments in favour of, and against, using CALL in the language classroom.
- Provide hands-on experience of using CALL resources.
- Relate CALL to current ideas about language learning and teaching.
