I am Dr. Saad Ebrahim Alobid, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University. I hold a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Nova Southeastern University, USA, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from King Saud University.
My academic and research interests focus on cancer pharmacology and molecular cancer biology, particularly the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer progression, tumor angiogenesis, cell signaling, and therapeutic response. I am also interested in drug repurposing and the identification of novel anticancer agents through molecular and cellular research.
Alongside my research activities, I am passionate about pharmacy education, student mentorship, and experiential learning. I aim to contribute to the development of future pharmacists and researchers through research-driven teaching, academic mentorship, and collaborative scientific work.
My broader goal is to bridge fundamental molecular research with therapeutic development, contributing to innovative approaches that may improve cancer treatment and patient outcomes.
