The course covers the physical, chemical, and biological properties of blood, focusing on components such as red and white blood cells, platelets, plasma proteins, and serum metabolites. It explores the mechanisms of blood coagulation, the role of anticoagulants, blood group systems and their inheritance, and the molecular structure and function of hemoglobin. Additionally, the course addresses erythropoiesis, RBC metabolism, and various types of anemia along with their genetic and acquired causes. Students gain both theoretical understanding and practical laboratory skills
