Did Sukuk Play a Role as a Safe Haven Instrument in an Investment Portfolio During the COVID-19 Pandemic?
A funded research project supported by the Islamic Finance Research Support Program of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), conducted under King Saud University (2022). The study investigates the hedging and safe-haven properties of Sukuk during extreme market turbulence, particularly the COVID-19 pandemic period.
