introduction/brief CV

Englisch Presentation: Rafik Amor Aguech, born in Sfax, Tunisia on December 31, 1971. I had my baccalaureate in 1990, then I followed my university studies at the faculty of sciences of Bizerte, Tunisia,  where I had my master's degree in mathematics  in June 1994. From October 1994 until June 1995 I prepared my DEA at the University of Paris 6 under the supervision of Professor Jean Lacroix. Then I prepared my doctoral thesis under the direction of Professors Pierre Priouret and Eric Moulines which I defended in January 2000.

areas of expertise

I am an associate professor  in probability and statistics. In my research work I am mainly interested in studying the asymptotics of random combinatorial structures. The technical words of my research are: Polya urns, random walks, fragmentation process and random trees, martingales.
