Arunachalam Prabhakarn is an assistant professor in the Chemistry department at King Saud University (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). He is active member in electrochemistry research group at King Saud University. Prior to joining King Saud University, he received doctorate degree in the field of chemistry and received Doctorate of Science (D.Sc) degree at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan (2010-2013). He received his MSc degree from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli (India) in 2009 and earned BSc in Bharathiyar University, India in 2007. His current research interest focuses on the low visible light photocatalysis, electrochemical and photoelectrochemical studies of materials. The research interest also includes synthesis of mesoporous materials for supercapacitors and energy related applications.
