GE 105 Introduction to Engineering Design مقدمة في التصميم الهندسي

The students in this course learn the design cycle from the customer's needs, all the way to the prototype building and design submission and documentation. They learn this via lectures, tutorials, live studio practice, and a course project where they are assigned existing real life engineering challenges that they are asked to design solutions for them.

يتعلم الطلاب في هذا المقرر كيفية القيام بخطوات التصميم الهندسي بناء على احتياجات العميل, وانتهاء ببناء النموذج الأولي وتسليم التصميم والقيام بتوثيقه. يتعلمون ذلك عبر محاضرات وتمارين وممارسة حية عبر مشروع المادة والذي يتم فيه إعطاؤهم تحدي هندسي واقعي يحتاج إلى حل, ويطلب منهم تصميم حل مبتكر لتجاوز ذلك التحدي.
