Zeyad Ammar Almutairi

Bio
I’m a faculty member at the department of mechanical engineering at King Saud University. I earned my master and PhD degrees from the University of Waterloo at Canada under the supervision of prof. C. Ren and D. Johnson. Both My master and PhD work focused on microfluidics studies. My graduate work focused on examining the physics of flow phenomena at the micro-scale dimension. I’m interested in experimental fluid mechanics at the micro scale to better understand the flow phenomena and their application in microfluidics and lab on a chip applications.

  • 2014: دكتوراه في الهندسة الميكانيكية من جامعة واترلوا بكندا, رسالة الدكتوراه درست انتاج و نقل قطرات من السوائل في الأنابيب الدقيقة
  • 2008: ماجيستير في الهندسة الميكانية من جامعة واترلوا بكندا, رسالة الماجستير: دراسة المجاستير بحثت في دراسة و تحسين اداء الضخ الاسموزي في الأنابيب الدقيقة المصنوعة من مادة PDMS
  • 2003: بكالوريوس علوم هندسية في تخصص الهندسة الميكانية من جامعة الملك سعود.
