Ali Abdullah Aldosari holds a PhD in applications of geographic information science in infectious disease; Department of Geography, College of Life Sciences, University of Exeter, UK.
Aldosari currently works as a faculty member in the Geography Department, and Chairman of Saudi Geographical Society. Aldosari headed the Geography Department during the period from 2011-2014, in addition to participating as a consultant and member in various committees inside and outside King Saud University. And supervising many theses and scientific research. His interests and research are focused in the field of geographic information systems applications and remote sensing image data analysis, LuLc, earth observation, digital maps, cultural heritage, and geographical names.
