PERSONAL STATEMENT

As a Professor and Consultant at King Saud University, I bring an interdisciplinary perspective nurtured through my strong academic background and extensive experience. I previously served as Department Chair and Director of the Research Center in the College of Applied Medical Sciences, providing leadership and strategic vision. Currently, my research focuses on designing, supervising, coordinating and analyzing rehabilitation and aging studies to investigate issues impacting geriatric populations. I aim to translate my findings into effective interventions and policies through regular publications in high-impact journals.

RESEARCH INTERESTS AND PUBLICATION    

With research interests focused on geriatric rehabilitation, rehabilitation outcomes research, health professional education, and evidence-based healthcare, I have made significant contributions to the field. I have published over 60 scientific papers in high-impact journals, authored chapters in two books, secured 19 research grants, and received 15 scholarships and awards in recognition of my research endeavors. I actively contribute to the scholarly community as a peer reviewer for over 50 esteemed journals and conferences.

TEACHING

With over 15 years of teaching experience, I have instructed diverse courses, including geriatric rehabilitation, orthopedic trauma, research seminars for Master's students, and undergraduate/graduate courses. I have successfully supervised numerous Master's student theses, guiding their research and academic development. Additionally, I have served as an examiner for national and international theses, evaluating advanced-level scholarly work.

I have actively participated in over 50 national and international conferences, attended more than 60 professional and academic development workshops, and earned multiple certifications to continually enhance my expertise and stay current in my field.
