My research activity is focused on Plasma Spectroscopy:

• Study the light emitted from laboratories and stellar plasmas.
• Calculation of energy levels, lifetimes, oscillator strengths and transition probabilities for interesting atoms and ions in astrophysics.
• Calculation of collision strengths for collisions in plasma between electrons and atoms or ions.
• Calculation of widths and shifts of lines emitted by a laboratory or astrophysical plasmas.
• One of our new techniques is the study of line ratio which is a good diagnostic of plasmas.
